Uncommon Adventures for Conservation

Our Ethos

We believe that wild beauty is worth protecting, so we use our guiding to strengthen community connections to particular landscapes and contribute to rewilding the Earth. Our immersive wilderness expeditions offer participants an opportunity to develop a deeper connection to the natural world while cultivating a wilder future for people and wildlife.

To show our commitment, every expedition gives a portion of profits to local and international environmental conservation organizations that are working toward protecting at least half of the Earth. By directly supporting strong conservation projects, we’re increasing our tangible impact on reconnecting, restoring, and rewilding our planet.

At the heart of every adventure, you’ll find an educational experience that fosters deep conversations around conservation. We don’t just explore the wild beauty of the landscapes we traverse, we address a wide range of complex environmental topics and discuss solutions to questions of management, sustainability, public use, coexistence, and more.

From climate change and biodiversity loss to wildfires and everything in-between, we’ll confront the greatest challenges our ecosystems face and inspire activism through education. This educational focus, alongside our commitment to far-flung adventures and unique partnerships, is how we set ourselves apart from others!

Our Partners

Looking ahead, we are reimagining our partnerships and expanding our role in the conservation movement. With new and improved experiences on the way, we will better confront the climate and biodiversity crisis’ while increasing our rewilding impact. The immersive and educational nature of our trips will be taken to new heights as we work toward a new strategic vision. We can’t wait to share what’s on the horizon; in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to ask about our favorite non-profit organizations and we’d be happy to share.
